January 9, 2005 . . . We finally get to meet John's wonderful Gail! We've been hearing about her for some time. . . She's all that and more! And she brought the lovely bouquet!

We feel as though we've known her forever!

John has been watching the three of us. Meanwhile Nellieanna leaves the conversation to snap a picture of Gail and George - and surprises John caught in rapt attention to Gail! We all were so lost in chatting that we almost forgot about dinner! But George outdid himself with his scrumptuous baked cod fillets and potato cakes, accompanied by my fresh baby spinach & tomato salad & Tom Thumb's yummy croissants, - all topped off with fresh strawberry shortcake - - when we finally did get around to eating! Chilled wines Gail brought were perfect, too! But most of all - the company!!!
